My first Podcast Guest Appearance: Preserving Your Wedding Flower

A few months ago I was invited to join Orange Blossom Bride’s podcast. It was such a fun and professionally rewarding experience.

Let me start with the fact that I’m an introvert. I love being with people, but strongly prefer intimate interactions in private settings. I have avoided public speaking for as long as I can remember. When Orange Blossom Bride emailed me about being a featured presenter on wedding floral preservation and custom resin art, my initial reaction was to politely decline.

I’m so happy that I faced my fear and accepted the opportunity. The host, Amanda Schmidt, was easy going, inviting, and genuinely engaging, which made me instantly comfortable. Be3fore I knew it, we were chatting about the wedding industry, how bouquet preservation has evolved, my recommended floral preservation steps, how I approach flower design, ideal flowers for preservation, and so much more.

If I’m ever invited back, I won’t hesitate to say, YES!
